We are still waiting for the word on whether or not we will get our plots all year round. Did get the word that I have both plots if I want them next year (AMEN! to that, yes I do!). I am waiting, waiting,waiting for the word and I hope that it is YES!

I want to try out these new heirloom purple brusselsprouts from Territorial, among other goodies that I already ordered. I have learned a lot already from my foray into keeping and running this much dirt - next year, weather permitting, it will be even more fabulous! EEgad - already thinking in terms of next year, I know I keep doing that. For this year I am looking eagerly at the fava bean rows and how the tomatoes are doing after such a wet dreary start.

I am also getting all the jars prepared as I have been doing small batches of canning and  I know that that is going to ramp up soon. I have cherries, rhubarb and onions to run already...got to get going!
